Our nucs are famous for good reason! We grow our nucs and hand them over to our customers at the perfect timing right when they are about to explode in growth through their natural expansion process. This is the healthiest start for any hive! 
At Checkout, you can choose where you would like to pick up your nucs!

There are some folks selling what they call nucs that are made up right before handing them off to their customers. Those are not true nucs. You can put flour, eggs, and sugar in a pan, but that doesn't make it a cake. 
5 frame Nucleus Colony Ready in May 2026 - Deep Frames - We do not ship Nucs however, we will deliver them within the Greater Birmingham area. 
A small "delivery fee" is calculated at checkout. This is just to help cover the cost of transporting the nucs to pick-up locations across the state. For those who wish to pick up their nucs directly at the farm in Rock Creek, this fee will be refunded. 
Ready/Pickup dates and location will be announced when the nucs are ready. But generally these nucs are ready on or before May 20th.
